Mark Garcia, Multi-tasking in Laguna
I'm Mark Garcia Aka OverboardDad, currently residing in South Orange County. Grew up in good ole Huntington Beach where I fell in love with the ocean and all that it offers. Because I was always at the beach and in the water I was given the nick name “Squid” by my brothers. I’ve been snorkeling and bodysurfing for over 35yrs and love the raw feeling of cruising through the waves. I have been handplaning since the 80’s and still have an original “HandGun”.
I'm an avid photographer and get great satisfaction capturing moments for others doing what they love (bodysurfing, surfing, snorkeling, anything outdoors). On any summer weekend you will find me along the Laguna, Newport, and Huntington Beach coast with my Sole Handplanes (Pocket Rocket) as one of my many tools.
Simply put, I’m an Outdoorsman with many places still to visit.
As I always like to say “Never stop doing what you love”!!
