Ride 'em til ya cain't

You've heard the term 'followthrough' most likely. And our man Vincent Anthony Amendola, AKA @goodvibes_84, takes followthrough to the next level. A master of the whomp, Vincent routinely finishes his rides on sand. Where most bodysurfers would turnout through the back of the wave, he just keeps going –transitioning from wave riding to sand riding.

We found it hard to believe handboard graphicsuntil we saw the bottom of some of his handplanes. You can see that the sand acts, well, just like sand paper and removes the paint from the sole of the plane. And that's tough epoxy paint! We may need to put teflon on the soles of our planes, not only to extend the life of the plane, but to extend the length of Vincent's rides!

We figure he's got about another 20 yards still to go on this ride ;)
